Nathan Cooke, LCSW
Greetings! I'm Nathan, and I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity to meet with you. With a Masters of Social Work from West Virginia University and additional post-graduate work in Special Education from Radford University, I bring a solid educational foundation to my practice.
Over the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to assisting individuals of all ages—children, families, and adults—through various challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship struggles, and trauma. My experience has honed my skills and deepened my understanding of the complexities people face in their lives.
In my practice, I integrate the highly effective approaches of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Practice, which focus on the present moment to bring about meaningful change and growth.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I cherish my role as a father to three incredible children. We share a profound love for nature, spending ample time exploring the captivating woods and serene creeks of Virginia and West Virginia.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and working together to embark on a journey towards positive transformation and well-being.
